About the Spain Tour
Our Spain tour is being planned as a dedicated journey through the Islamic history of Al-Andalus, the region that was home to one of the most advanced Muslim civilisations in history for nearly 800 years. Pilgrims and history lovers on this trip will walk through cities that once stood at the centre of Islamic learning, architecture and trade in medieval Europe.
What You Can Expect to Visit
- The Alhambra Palace in Granada, the jewel of Moorish architecture
- The Great Mosque of Córdoba (Mezquita), one of the largest mosques ever built
- The historic Albaicín quarter, Granada’s old Muslim neighbourhood
- Seville’s Islamic-era landmarks, including the Giralda
